Alan Herdman Pilates is delighted to announce that our Seymour Street studio is the first in the UK to have the brand new Guillotine Tower. One of the original pieces of equipment designed by Joseph Pilates, the Guillotine has been redesigned for the modern studio by Balanced Body, and offers multiple levels of exercise. Alan explains: “The Guillotine works with whole body movement, as well as promoting more in-depth leg work. There are many exercises available that you can’t do on other equipment. It’s brilliant!”
The video clip on the home page gives a taste of the versatility of the Guillotine, and shows Alan working with Kiria Sabin of Fletcher Pilates. Video courtesy of Balanced Body.
